The Next Big Thing!

What is your working title of your book? This Old Tomb. YES! I love new titles!

Where did the idea come from for the book? I was fascinated by the idea of Ivy Morris now Fallon solving a cold case.

What genre does your book fall under? Cozy Mystery with Romance

Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition? Hmmm. I love Daniel Casey from Midsomer Murders! I have no idea for Ivy but I would take that part :)

What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book? Because nothing ever goes smoothly for Ivy, why on earth did she expect to be able to remodel a house without finding a skeleton or two in the closet?

Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency? I’m hoping Draumr Publishing who put out the previous Ivy’s will consider this one too.

How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript? I’m still in the process!

What other books would you compare this story to within your genre? It’s along the lines of Donna Andrews Meg Langslow mysteries which I adore.

Who or what inspired you to write this book? Honestly, I was done with the series but I’ve had so many requests for Ivy’s continuance that I couldn’t resist.

What else about your book might pique the reader's interest? If you like your couples smooch and your laughter loud, come on down to Martha’s Point, Virginia!

.

The three writers I'm tagging are:

Natalie J Damschroder

Go check them out and thank you so much to Danita Cahill for the invite!!!!
